Here we are, the final week of the 2020 CrossFit Open. So far, we’ve faced two new Open movements (pistols and dumbbell thrusters), we’ve checked off the annual repeat workout, and suffered through, arguably, the toughest Week 1 workout in Open history.
What’s in store for Week 5? Considering the movements historically used in the Open, here’s what’s left that could be included:
Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups
Bar or Ring Muscle-ups
Rowing
Overhead Squats
Wall Balls
Dumbbell Lunges
Step-ups
Dumbbell Squats
We’ve removed movements that are similar to ones that we’ve already used. One noticeable omission is the barbell thruster, which has historically always been a Week 5 movement. Of course, that could still be the case, but we’re going to take a chance and bet against it.
