Chris Hemsworth is no stranger to grueling workouts, but when he invited YouTube megastar MrBeast to train with him, things took an unexpected turn.
What was supposed to be a casual hangout quickly became a full-body endurance test, leaving MrBeast questioning his life choices.
“I came to hang out, not die,” MrBeast joked mid-workout, struggling to keep up with Hemsworth’s intense routine.

A Workout Fit for Thor
Led by a trainer named “Z,” the session consisted of nine high-intensity stations designed to push both strength and endurance. Each station lasted 30 seconds on, 20 seconds off, repeated across four rounds. The workout lineup included:
- Sled Push – A weighted sled push to fire up the legs.
- Kettlebell Deadlift – Performed with either one or two kettlebells.
- Push-Ups/Burpees – A brutal combination of push-ups and explosive jumps.
- Assault Bike – A fan-resistance bike notorious for draining energy fast.
- Ball Slams – A full-body exercise combining strength and cardio.
- Curl and Press – A classic upper-body move targeting the arms and shoulders.
- Ski Machine – Mimicking a skiing motion to work the core and legs.
- Sandbag Reverse Lunges – Adding extra resistance to a traditional lunge.
MrBeast quickly realized he was in over his head. “What about 30 seconds on, one minute off?” he asked, hoping to adjust the rules. Unfortunately, there were no shortcuts.
Can MrBeast Keep Up?
From the very first station, it was clear that Hemsworth’s fitness level was on another level. While the YouTuber and his crew gasped for air, the Thor star powered through, barely breaking a sweat.
Despite a generous dose of pre-workout—300 mg of caffeine per two scoops—MrBeast admitted defeat. “I’ve never felt more out of shape,” he said, struggling to push through the final rounds.
Hemsworth, on the other hand, was unfazed. “I could probably do another round,” he said casually, proving that his superhero training is no joke.
Calories Burned = Chocolate Earned?
To keep things fun, the team decided that their total calorie burn would determine the number of chocolate bars they earned. While the logic was questionable, it added a lighthearted twist to the brutal session.
After the workout, Hemsworth tried the chocolate for the first time. “It’s like soft, not hard or nutty,” he noted, impressed by the real peanut butter inside. MrBeast joked about undoing all their hard work: “If you want to cancel out the muscle you gained and the fat you burned, just eat chocolate after.”
Is Chris Hemsworth Becoming a YouTuber?
Beyond the workout, one unexpected moment stood out—Hemsworth hinted at a potential shift to YouTube. “This is my transition out of Hollywood. Films are done. I’m a YouTuber now,” he joked.
While he’s unlikely to leave the big screen anytime soon, his growing presence on social media suggests that he’s embracing digital content more than ever.
The Verdict: Who Won?
In the end, MrBeast survived the session, but the result was clear—Hemsworth dominated. While the YouTuber gave it his all, his final verdict was simple: “That was a bad idea.”
Will he take on another Hollywood star next? Only time will tell.
