Effective dose: 200 to 600 mg of cacao flavanols daily, equivalent to two or three small squares of 70% or higher cacao dark chocolate.

If you find dark chocolate a little bitter, my tip to you is to actually have those squares with a cup of coffee. Black coffee ideally. Coffee’s actually also good for your blood vessels. Chocolate pieces plus coffee equals mocha. Everyone loves that.
