There are transformations — and then there’s Jude’s story. A bodybuilder with once 370 pounds on his frame, a father of two, and now a shredded, Olympia-aspiring physique that turns heads from California to Ghana.

In a recent workout video with fitness icon Larry Wheels, Jude shared the comeback story of a lifetime, showing off his 23-inch arms and elite conditioning. Yet what truly stood out was his mindset, raw work ethic, and refusal to be average.

From navigating spine injuries, car accidents, and weight struggles to getting elite shredded with no cardio and one meal a day — Jude doesn’t follow the worn-out path. He carves his own.

Here’s what makes Jude’s approach unique, what aspiring bodybuilders can learn from him, and why Larry Wheels believes he has what it takes to hit the Olympia stage.

The Genetics Are Unreal — But It Was Earned

“This guy never competed — and he has Olympia-level thickness and shape,” said Larry Wheels, visibly stunned during their first meeting. Despite being new to social media, Jude’s aesthetic and mass immediately drew comparisons to legends like Andrew Jacked.

That comparison isn’t just poetic. Jude’s arms are just shy of 23 inches, his calves resemble “the Batman symbol,” and his side chest pose leaves seasoned competitors silent. Yet, it’s not all genetics.

Jude went from 220 pounds to 370 after stepping away from bodybuilding to commit to fatherhood full-time — and then back again. “Everything hurt,” he recalled about weighing nearly 400 pounds. “It took me three business days to get out of bed.”

The second chapter of his transformation included a garage gym, daily 6 AM workouts, 10,000 steps per day, fasting, and eventually a return to sub-270 lean mass — all while raising his two sons.

High Volume Arm Workouts With Bodybuilder Precision

With triceps that out-measure his shoulders (literally), Jude trains his arms harder than anybody. “Biceps and triceps paired — four exercises each. Compound supersets. High volume. 12 to 15 reps every time,” he explained. “Let’s get that pump.”

This is old-school bodybuilding executed with surgical precision. Emphasizing the stretch, pausing to feel the contraction, and manipulating tension over chasing ego lifts. Despite being capable of curling 90-pound dumbbells, he prefers 35s — with better form.

“I want to feel the muscle, not just move the weight,” he said. “Make 35 pounds feel like 80. That way, you grow the muscle with less risk.”

Failure is a guide in Jude’s workouts — but not an obsession. “I leave failure for the last set. The rest is strategic. That way, I maximize volume without burning out,” he said.

Dieting? Not Exactly. More Like Hacked Nutrition

In perhaps the most surprising part of his routine, Jude isn’t tracking macro splits like most pros. Instead, he fasts most of the day and consumes up to 300 grams of protein — largely through shakes.

“I drink eight protein shakes a day. Two at a time for 60 grams of protein per serving. And one solid meal — whatever I want,” he revealed.

That daily meal is often a hearty choice: double cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries if that’s what he craves. But by sticking to his fasting routine and balancing it with ultra-high protein intake, he maintains conditioning and mass year-round. His abs? Still in full view.

“It works because I’ve trained my appetite,” he added. “Even though I enjoy food, I don’t have compulsive cravings anymore.”

Rebuilding After A Trio of Car Accidents

Jude’s backstory includes more than food and workouts. After surviving three car accidents in a single year, he was left with five herniated spinal discs and one bulging disc. Surgery was recommended. He refused.

Instead, he committed to red light therapy, infrared sauna sessions, shockwave therapy, and a back-specific training regimen. His orthopedist was surprised but cautiously optimistic — and Jude’s results speak volumes. Still in pain, but still growing.

“Until it’s the absolute last resort, I’m doing everything I can to avoid the knife,” he said. “Pain’s part of our world. It’s not an excuse.”

The Next Chapter: Contest Ready With Shredded Glutes

Despite everything he’s achieved so far, Jude has one thing he hasn’t done — compete. That’s changing soon. And he isn’t stepping on stage to blend in.

“When I step on stage, it’s going to be with shredded glutes,” he said with passion. “I want the death face, the paper-thin skin. I’m bringing Olympia-level conditioning.”

He’s currently looking for a coach to help shape his bodybuilding debut, prioritizing structure, balance, and elite details. Shoulders and quads are the focus of his offseason — not just size, but symmetry.

Training With Purpose — And For His Sons

Jude’s journey isn’t just about stage lights or IFBB pro cards. His biggest goal is being an example for his children.

“They see me now and they want to move like me, train like me, be like me,” he said. “That means more than any trophy.”

After taking time away to be a full-time dad, he came back stronger mentally and physically — inspiring not just himself, but everyone watching.

Final Thoughts

Jude’s story is proof that with grit, intention, and the right priorities, anything is possible — even a comeback after 150-pound weight gain, debilitating injury, and years away from the sport.

Now, with Larry Wheels co-signing his potential and a physique few gym-goers can match, the next chapter is about claiming the spotlight he was born to stand under.

Olympia could realistically be in his future… and if it is, it’ll begin in a garage gym transformed with pain, purpose, and protein shakes.
