It also blocks nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB), the master transcription factor that controls inflammatory gene expression. Think of NF-κB as the hotel keycard that powers everything else—remove it, and inflammation can’t even turn on.

A systematic review in Scientific Reports found omega-3 intake was associated with lower inflammatory biomarkers in patients with diabetes and cardiovascular disease. No one’s denying that ibuprofen works.
But relying on NSAIDs long-term carries risks: stomach lining erosion, cardiovascular concerns, kidney stress. Ginger, curcumin, and omega-3s are foods—or compounds derived directly from whole foods—not pharmaceuticals.
